Introduction: Understanding Resource Allocation in Healthcare

Resource allocation in healthcare refers to the strategic distribution of limited financial, human, and physical resources to initiatives that provide the greatest value to the organization and its stakeholders. It involves evaluating potential projects based on return on investment, alignment with mission and goals, impact on patient outcomes, staff satisfaction, and community benefit. As the CEO of a healthcare facility, I am responsible for ensuring that each allocation of funds supports not just the bottom line, but also long-term sustainability, quality care, and employee retention (Lee, 2020).
